OgreFollow

Summary

OgreFollow is a replica of EQ2s ingame /follow - with a few differences.

Differences

  • EQ2-Follow - Able to swim up/down in water. OgreFollow cannot. May implement this, but it's a lot of additional checks for limited use.
  • OgreFollow - Able to set follow distance and change on the fly.

Usage

  • Clicking OgreFollow pops up a menu.
    • Ogre Follow For who? - This determines who will listen to the command. If you wish to turn off OgreFollow on everyone, "off" is a shortcut.
    • Ogre Follow on who? - This determines who is the followee (the person leading the way).
    • Next popup are the settings.
      • Min distance - If you are GREATER than this distance, the bot will move you forward.
      • Max distance - If you are LESS than this distance, the bot will try to OgreFollow you. (Basically if you are across the zone, you would be greater than this distance and not try to follow).
      • BreakWithNoTarget - If OgreFollow is actively trying to move you, and you have no target, it turns OFF OgreFollow. (To turn it back on, you must use the OgreFollow button again).

Compatibility/Priority

  • OgreFollow takes priority over EQ2-Follow. When you activate OgreFollow it temporary disables OgreBot's Auto Follow Mode. When OgreFollow is turned off, OgreBot's Auto Follow Mode will continue if it is turned on.
  • OgreFollow pauses if move into melee range/behind/infront etc are checked and that movement is allowed to happen (valid target). Resumes when you have no valid kill target (in or out of combat).
