Testing

Instructions for testing. Note: You shouldn't do anything on this page unless you were specifically instructed to do so by Kannkor.

If you experience a bug, or different behavior that you believe is incorrect, please provide full and proper feedback. (Copy/paste any errors in the console etc, be exact with what you were doing/happened).

First thing to do, is to make a backup copy of your /innerspace/ folder and ALL it's contents. While no one has had a single issue yet, I prefer to error on the side of caution.

This is beta of version 17. A few things to keep in mind:

• There are samples available for most classes. However, because of the huge amount of customization possible now, now sample will ever be "perfect" for you. At this stage, you absolutely, positively, are not permitted to ask or request sample profiles from anyone. Use the samples "as is" or build your own. If you are not prepared to build your own, do not download this file.

A few other things to note:

• It is possible that a major change will be made, and your newly built profile will no longer work. While this is extremely unlikely (because I don't want to rebuild mine :P), it is "possible".
• It is HIGHLY possible, that you will need to delete your abilityexports and re-run them. (These are the same as a spellexport, just a little different). Because it adds a ton of extra information, if some of that information is incorrect, it needs to be removed(deleted).
• The first thing you will need to do, is run an ability export. The command for this is: ogre export
  • This is the same idea as a spell export, but it has been completely rewritten, and a ton more information added.
• On the CastStack tab, when you select an ability, it tries to auto determine what type of ability it is, and how it can be used.
  • For example: A permanent buff, will only show up as 'Buff' and 'NonCombatBuff'.
  • A single target nuke, will only show up as a 'CA' and 'NamedCA'.
  • A single target beneficial ability, will only show up as a 'Heal', 'PowerHeal', 'Combat'.
• If you experience an ability that is being labeled incorrectly, such as Zealous Smite being labeled as a Cure, and not a CA, I need the exact ability name, where it comes from (AA/Profession), what it is being labeled as, and what it should be labeled as.
• Every time you see 'AbilityExport' updated here http://eq2.ogregaming.com/wiki/RevisionHistory#In_Closed_Testing You should re-run your ability exports.

Save this file into your /innerspace/extensions/ directory. It will automatically update any files based on file integrity.
