Tips and Tricks
At this stage you are now ready to use the extension!
When ISXOgre is first loaded, it checks to see if ISXEQ2 is active, if it isn't, it tries to load ISXEQ2 for you.
It also prepares our skin to ensure all our windows are pretty.
For all ISXOgre commands, type: "Ogre ?" or "Ogre help" in the console. This is the most up to date list. There is also a list here on the wiki also. Click here to go to the ISXOgre Command list. Please note, all commands are "ogre ____". You do NOT type "run ogre ___".
One thing you will want to do the first time you run (or before you run) OgreBot on each character, is do an AbilityExport. This is a 1 time requirement. It allows the bot to read through each of your spells individually (takes around 5 minutes) and learn about each one, including the little details such as what type of damage it does, or if stealth is required etc. Some "default" spell exports come with the bot, however if you have a different AA setup, the bot may not see those other abilities you have. To do an ability export, type "Ogre export" in the console. This, and all other commands can be found in the Command list.
Once "Ogre export" is finished to run the bot Type "Ogre" into the console.
While you are setting up your character for the first time, read through each tab and what each option does. Remember to read the entire page, there are suggestions at the bottom of some pages. Read everything! While setting up your Guardian or Berserker, you may want to skip past "Heals", I mean, a fighter can't heal right? Depends... is Intercede a heal? What about Dragon Reflexes? Wall of Stone? etc etc (yes they are heals... it wasn't really a question.... :) ). See the Tabs here.
When you load the bot for the first time, a 'default' profile will load. The first thing you should do, is go to the Aliases Tab and update it.
At this stage, I'd recommend heading to an easy instance, to get some experience using the bot. The Kael instances are a GREAT example if you're max level. They will be quite easy, but give you a chance to see how everything works. Once you've got some experience using the bot, return here to the wiki, to see what else is available! You are welcome to continue reading and jump right into the more advanced features, if you start feeling overwhelmed, just take a break to log in, and test the bot out.
