* Castle Highhold [Heroic]
**** Sets campspot near the doorway. To funnel all the mobs. Note: This isn't the "quickest" way to do the mob, but it sure is easy if you're being lazy.
+
**Sa'Dax Senshali
**** Also loads an autotarget list on "fighters".
+
*** Chat command: "Set up for Senshali"
** Modules ( Energy Delivery Module/Force Absorption Module )
+
****Sets campspot to the center of where the orbs spawn.
*** Chat command: set up for modules
+
*** When the knock back things spawn, the bots will click to remove them.
**** Moved the starting campspot to the center.... or just campspot near the Energy one.
+
***When a colour happens, the next time the bot is within range of the orbs (which if you used the set up, will be immediately), they will click the appropriate coloured orbs and be ported up.
*** On red text, everyone joust out and change their campspot to behind the named. 8 seconds later, does a joust in.
+
***Once the platform has been removed (killed, except you don't actually kill it... it just disappears when low health), the bots will return to the middle of the orbs.
*** Loads autotarget list on fighters. (Yes, I'm that lazy some times!)
+
***In addition, the bot will enable/disable campspot, and use NoMove when appropriate.
** Luminox Prime
+
***Okay, having said all that, the "way" to be successful with this script is to do.
*** Chat command: Set up for luminox
+
**** Campspot everyone except your tank. Don't be lazy.
**** It is named identical to luminox... .. cause it sets up in the same place. Also does the exact same thing.
+
****Do a 'set up for Senshali'
***At this very moment, there isn't a tank campspot (I just set it same as the raid). When I have more time I may make a tank camp spot also.
+
****Pull, and place her next to your group, but giving everyone the back. (Maximize dps!)
*** When he starts lazers, does the same thing as Modules, moves behind.
+
****When a colour happens, move your tank into your group so he is in range of all the orbs.
 +
****When everyone ports up, have your tank target the platform.
 +
****When the platform is gone, have your tank pull her back to the group and give them the back again... rinse and repeat.
 +
****Note: If a platform disappears, but the toons don't "fall" down and stay floating in the air, just use JUMP. (MCP->Jump) to get them down easily.

** Gudre Blackhand
 +
***Chat command: "Set up for Gudre"
 +
***Toons will start at the left'ish of the room, and click the tapestries as they are available. They will do them in order around the room.
 +
***Note: For any movement to work on this fight, you MUST do a set up.
 +
*** When the 4th, 6th, and 8th tapestry are clicked, they will gsay for your toons to advance to the next position. If you decide you want to make life more difficult and do these tapestries manually on your tank, then you can always progress them yourself via a new set up for Gudre.
 +
*** Note: Only use this if the auto move doesn't work. When you want your toons to progress thoughout the room, do another 'set up for Gudre'.
 +
****  Set up for Gudre
 +
****  If Gudre is not in combat (IE: pre-pull), puts you to the left of the room. This is the 'starting' position.
 +
**** If Gudre is in combat, it increments an internal array that changes the campspot.
 +
****Position 1: Starting position, to the left. Used for getting the first 3-4 tapestries.
 +
***** Position 2: Middle back of the room. Used for getting the 4 back tapestries.
 +
***** Position 3: To the right. Used for getting the 2 tapestries on the right.
 +
***** Position 4: Near the wall on the right. Used for tanking him against a wall.
 +
***** Position 5: Disable the auto movement. This should only be used after all tapestries are done, and you want to move some where specific to tank him.
 +
*****  If you increment past 5, it resets back to 1.
 +
***Intended usage:
 +
****Do a set up before pulling. This puts you to the left.
 +
****Once 4 tapestries have been used, a toon in the group should emote to move the group. This moves you to the back of the room.
 +
****Once 6 tapestries have been used (that's the first 3, plus the 3 on the back wall), a toon in the group should emote. This puts you to right side of the room.
 +
****Once all 8 tapestries have been used, a toon in the group should emote. This puts you close to a wall to tank him and ignore the knock back.
 +
***Note: If it's our tank and you're doing it manually, then you will have to do a another set up at the end to move close to a wall.

**Sets a campspot BEHIND where he spawns, semi between the two barrels.
+
**When he drops a red circle, people move to the other side.

**It is YOUR responsibility to move him to the barrels when you want him there, and it is also your responsibility to tank smart. IE: Don't tank him in the middle, where the red circle hits both sides.

*Dagrin

**Command: set up for Dagrin
+
**You need to do the following IN THIS EXACTLY ORDER to have optimal success.
+
**Move yourself so you are in the "middle" of his area. I usually stand between the two pillar looking things. THEN campspot everyone (including your tank). Then do a 'set up for Dagrin'.
+
**When the rocks spawn, bards will run and kill them, then return back to kill the named. If you do not have a bard, then you get to do this manually :)
+
**Note: If some how you end up moving the named because you thought you could do better playing your tank manually, as long as a rock isn't up, you can do another 'set up for Dagrin' to have everyone reposition. They always reposition where Dagrin is currently standing.
+
*Ahrmatal the Scorcher
+
**This one is a little tricky.
+
**From the bridge side, campspot your group (you can do your tank also if you want, I personally DO NOT).
+
**Do the command: set up for Scorcher (set up for Ahrmatal works also).
+
**When you are ready to engage, use your MCP-> North button twice (40m). If you want, you can move even more north, but 40m is the least you should move. This will put you into agro range, so be sure you are prepared (buffed up/engage first on tank etc).
+
**When fire spawns, your group will automatically determine a safe location to move too, and move there. These are NOT predetermined. They are determined 'on the fly'.
+
**Because there is a delay on the fire spawning, the bot waits a predetermined amount of time. I've found this works 98% of the time. However, there is a chance that half of your group will go to 1 location, and the other half of your group will go to a different location. If this happens, move your tank to a firefree area, then press your 'Change campspot to YOU' button. See [https://www.isxgames.com/forums/threads/6945-ToV-Instances-Guide-to-winning?p=43379&viewfull=1#post43379 TOV Instances Guide to Winning]. This will get everyone back together.

Revision as of 22:20, 11 January 2015

[Original Source] This is just a repost, with a few modifications from BJCaseys post, he deserves all credit for the initial gathering of information.

Summary & Important Notes

Heroic Options are there to assist with harder mobs. Generally speaking, these are built for bot encounters, and not necessaily for you to afk. There are also some HUD (on screen displays) of information that is valuable for everyone. These include things like, AE timers, when adds will spawn, when mem wipes will happen etc.

Generally speaking, you get to a named NPC, then do a campspot, then if there is a set up below, you use an MCP button or type it into group/raid chat, and the bots will "move" to the pre-defined campspot. For example: In Stratum, on A Warrior Construct, you would get in the general area, do a campspot, then type: 'set up for warrior'.

Worth noting also, people don't like it when anyone else is "better" than them. If you bot, do not share your progress with ANYONE. People get very upset when a bot can kill mobs that they can't. You talk about it, you WILL get petitioned.

WARNING WARNING WARNING - While I have done my best to document every possible option from using these options, I may have missed some. Be careful and pay attention when using these options for the first few times until you understand what they are doing with your character.

Worth noting, this list isn't all inclusive, as my WIKI updaters keep fleeing! You can see the Revision history, or use search to find more information.

IMPORTANT NOTE: In order for most options to function properly, you MUST have EQ2s "Hits Mode" in FULL TEXT and not medium or minimal text mode. To check this, do the following:

  • EQ2 Button (in game)
    • Options
      • User Interface
        • Game Features
          • Hits Mode -----> Full Text

On the OgreBot settings tab ensure Grind Options are selected.
